Program Committee & Co-Chair for a Special Session on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Bioinformatics IEEE Symposium on Computational Intelligence in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology March 30 - April 1, 2009 link
This special session aims at attracting submissions from the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) community who have an interest in Computational Intelligence in Bioinformatics. We are seeking high quality submissions of papers employing AI and/or ML techniques to problems in bioinformatics including gene expression array analysis, RNA structure prediction and folding, protein structure prediction and folding, RNA design, drug design, molecular sequence alignment and analysis, metabolic pathways analysis, and analysis of large biological data sets. Papers must focus on employing AI or ML techniques and ideally would use CI methods as well. This session aims at attracting AI and ML researchers, practitioners and students who want to become more involved in Computational Intelligence in Bioinformatics research.
