Fall 2016 - “Engaging Students”

I. INTRODUCTION

I have been teaching Software Engineering classes (CMPT 275 and CMPT 475) since 2009. Because of the experiential learning pedagogical approach I used and also the practical projects I employ in this course, the class is attracting attention of both academic and industry partners. The enclosed videos are the presentations and short demo for the Fall 2016 semester. This semester's theme is "Engaging Students."

Simon Fraser University strive to be "The Engaged University." In its strategic vision document, SFU’s outlined the vision of the university “to be the leading engaged university defined by its dynamic integration of innovative education, cutting-edge research, and far-reaching community engagement.”

The goal of the project is to develop a software tool for helping the SFU community to achieve or contribute to the strategic vision. The project will focus on “Engaging Students” pillar.

If you have any question or suggestion, please Contact Dr. Herbert H. Tsang.
